The father had let his son drive the car to a football match. But the boy had driven so fast that the worried father decided that he himself would drive home. About half way home another car suddenly shot out from a side road. The father, who was driving very slow, was able to stop in time.
“There now!” exclaimed the father. “If you’d been driving, we’d have been killed!”
“Not at all,” said the son. “If I’d been driving we’d be at home eating our dinner.”
